Misspellings, grammatical errors, malapropisms, awkward phrasing, and non-standard formatting can hamper your script's chances of selling.  Responding to popular demand, we now offer a complete proofreading service.  Marking directly on your script, we flag errors and correct your spelling, grammar, word usage, and formatting.  For an additional fee, we can execute the corrections in your script file, whether it be Final Draft®, Movie Magic® Screenwriter™, Microsoft® Word ®, or another program.

Screenplay

Base fee:  $300.  Payable by check or online through PayPal.

Making corrections directly in your script file, add $150.

Electronic submission (e-mail attachment), add $10.

Turnaround time is generally two to three weeks.  Rush service (one week or less), add $50.

Additional charges may apply for screenplays longer than 130 pages.

Some scripts need more correcting than others.  Prior to proofreading your script, we'll glance through it to see whether it requires more work than usual, and notify you if any additional fees are due.

Novel or Manuscript

Base fee:  $700.  Payable by check or online through PayPal.

Making corrections directly in your manuscript file, add $350.

Electronic submission (e-mail attachment), add $20.

Turnaround time is generally three to four weeks.  Rush service (one week or less), add $100.

Additional $1 per page for manuscripts over 500 pages.

Fees include postage for the return of your screenplay or novel.
